The 2nd International Student Research Conference (ISRC 2026), organized by the Dhaka University Research Society (DURS), is a flagship platform dedicated to celebrating student-led research across disciplines.

From artificial intelligence to public policy, life sciences to literary studies, ISRC 2026 brings together the next generation of scholars to share ideas, challenge perspectives, and forge collaborations that transcend borders.

Author Guidelines

From submission to stage

Everything you need to prepare a compelling abstract, a polished full paper, and a confident presentation.

Language

All abstracts must be written in English.

Format

Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx). A sample template will be provided.

1 Content Requirements

Your abstract should clearly and concisely summarize:

Introduction
Objectives
Methods
Results
Conclusion

2 Abstract Structure

A single paragraph without indention, 200–300 words, containing the following parts:

Heading
Title, Author(s), Email, Affiliation, Address
Body
Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusion
Keywords
Discipline of the study, Concepts investigated, Methods and process, Geography (Country/Continent)

3 Multiple Submissions and Presentation Limits

Multiple submissions are permitted. An author may submit multiple abstracts as a primary author and may also serve as a co-author on additional submissions, provided that each submission represents substantially distinct and original research. If multiple abstracts are accepted, an author may deliver a maximum of two oral presentations, provided that the scheduled presentation times do not conflict. If two presentations overlap, the author must arrange for an eligible co-author to present one of them, subject to the approval of the organizing committee.

All submissions must be in (.doc or .docx) format. A sample template will be provided to ensure consistency across all entries.

Submission

Authors submit their abstracts through the conference submission portal.

Acknowledgment

An acknowledgment email will be sent within three working days of submission.

Review Criteria Check

Only abstracts meeting all formatting and submission criteria will be considered for review.

Rapid Double-Blind Peer Review

Each abstract undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer review, typically completed within 2–3 working days.

Results Notification

Authors are notified of the evaluation results within 2–4 days of submission.

Revisions & Feedback

If revisions are requested, authors receive one week to resubmit. In case of rejection, detailed reviewer suggestions are provided for future improvement.

AI & Research Integrity Disclaimer

After initial acceptance, authors may be required to provide source code, supplementary materials, or other evidence supporting the reported results. For studies using primary or restricted data, authors may also be required to provide relevant data-use licenses, permissions, or ethical approvals, where applicable.

Initial acceptance is not final acceptance if the advisory committee recommends further verifications. If verification identifies fraudulent data, fabricated/manipulated results, plagiarism, or entirely AI-generated content presented as original work, the submission may be desk rejected or withdrawn, even after initial acceptance.

Authors are responsible for the accuracy, originality, authenticity, and research integrity of their submissions.
